You cannot pray for something and hang around acting and speaking doubt. The one praying to God must act in faith as if God has already granted it. Go rejoicing before finding out if your prayer has been answered. Take God at His word! If you take God at His word, you will depart after prayer. Have you departed?
Failure to relate things is the reason why the majority of the people will remain stuck in their misfortune. Many are unable to relate their lack of a budget to the fact that money gets finished before essential items are addressed. Most people are unable to see the place of peace of mind found in worship and the management of regular stress in their lives. If you can’t see the relationship, you will remain stranded.
Has the word of God offended you? Are you angry at what has been preached, taught, and said? Ask yourself if anger can change the truth. When anger changes nothing, change that anger into acceptance of the truth!
The third lesson is that lack of glory doesn’t mean it’s over for you. The glory that is much better can and will come your way. The present temple had nothing attractive. Haggai promises that the present may be discouraging, but the future is certain and powerful!
Only the friends of God have a safe and bright future. Enemies of God may not see it now, but there is serious trouble ahead for them. The trouble they can’t handle. The trouble that may destroy them forever. I pray that I may always be a friend of God that He cares for and protects and prospers, in Jesus’ name, Amen!

How could the safest and untouchable be destroyed with such ease? How could a most feared nation be brought down to nothing in a very short period of time? Why were the safest and untouchables affected?
The world wonders, where will we get money? The believers respond by praying, dear God provides us with some money. Where the world wonders, the believers pray to God.
