General Doctrines

  • The Simple Ordinary But Exceedingly Great Sin!

“If you are not concerned about the exceedingly great evils around you, you are committing an exceedingly great sin…The symptom that you are committing the exceedingly great sin, is that you are not concerned about the evil things that are happening around you. Those things don’t bother you. Those things don’t trigger you to pray. You are indifferent to the things happening around you. Consequently you are enabling bloodshed and injustice. Consequently you have knowingly or unknowingly become a collaborator with unjust people, murderers, corrupt people, thieves, etc. It all begins with the don’t care, don’t get concerned attitude. That simple ordinary don’t care act is the root of the exceedingly great sin!”

  • Is God Part of The Equation?

“In the equation of your finances, do you acknowledge that God is part of it? In the equation of your academic performance, do you acknowledge that God is part of it? In your equation of relationships and love affairs, do you acknowledge that God is part of it? In your health matters, do you acknowledge that God is part of it? Is God part of the equation of your life?”

  • This Will Happen To Partners In Crime

“After the sermon is preached, you discuss with others to water it down…Are you and a few people behind the stalemate in church board decisions making?…Have you ganged up with your parents against a sibling?…Have you secretly reported anyone to the boss so that they suffer at work?…With whom do you gossip and spread lies and hurtful information about others?”

  • “There Will be No More Gloom…”

“Our situation today could be like that of Galilee. Dark and hopeless. Nothing good in our lives. Misery all around us. God has a promise today and He wants you to take it to heart and believe it. “There will be no more gloom….””

  • You Control Nothing! Just Follow Instructions

“In simple words just enjoy your daily life as it is. To attempt and think you can control outcomes will take you on a long winding path that ends up exactly where you were avoiding. Be happy today and do your best. This is because you control nothing.”

  • Without This, Life Will Be Very Short

“Wisdom has practical advantages that make this difficult life of sin bearable. Wisdom will give you a chance to avoid risks that shorten life. Wisdom will help you expect unavoidable pain and therefore handle it slightly better. Wisdom will enable you to live longer!”

  • A Promise For Your Enemies and For The Needy

“The Psalm tells us that God does not ignore the cries of the afflicted. His silence should not be misunderstood to mean He won’t respond to cries of those who suffer because they are helpless and needy. God does not ignore. Do not misinterpret His silence as ignoring those who cry out to Him.”

  • A Faith Going Round In Circles

“A faith going round in circles failed Israelites…They lived without peace of mind. Life wasn’t satisfying…We run to God to solve problems. Once problems are over we abandon our faith. This kind of faith does not lead to spiritual growth. This is a faith going round in circles. A faith that achieves nothing!”

  • Are You Separate and Distinct From Them?

“Without separation and distinction we fail. Without separation and distinction our faith makes no difference. Without separation and distinction we have no evangelistic purpose to invite people to something better. Without separation and distinction we are not truly converted. Without separation and distinction it means we love the world more than God. We need to be separate and distinct!”
