“What motivates your sexual morality? Fear of being caught? Fear of pregnancy? …What motivates you in school? What motivates you at work? What motivates your christianity? What motivates your relationship to your spouse? What motivates you? May God save us from fear as a motivation. May God grant us sustainable motivations. In Jesus’ name, Amen!”
Success in school or at work depends on whether you fear or ignore … Your health depends on whether you fear or ignore … Financial breakthroughs and stability will depend on whether you fear or ignore … Your social life will thrive and bring you happiness or will constantly stress you, depending on whether you fear or ignore … Your eternal life or death depends on whether you fear or ignore …
“To worship has to do with being in the presence of God. Being in worship mode is constantly being conscious that we are in God’s presence. We should live a lifestyle of a person who is conscious that I am permanently in the presence of God. This is why God blesses us, so that we can live such a lifestyle.”
“To remove all doubt, the non-humans are listed. The list given is of those with whom God has made a covenant. A covenant with who? Birds, livestock, and ALL the wild animals that came out of the Ark. To further clarify the list, God repeats the non-humans involved in the covenant, “EVERY LIVING CREATURE ON EARTH.””
“…What is the need? Your education should address a need. Your investment should address a need. Your mission strategy should address a need. Your relating and parenting styles should address a need. What is the need?”
“In case of sickness, we have direct access to the Boss. In case of lack of money we have direct access to the Boss. In case we fear anything, we have direct access to the Boss. In case of tough exams that we need to pass, we have direct access to the Boss. In case relationships are a source of stress, we have direct access to the Boss. If anyone or some people are scheming to harm us, we have direct access to the Boss. If we are seeking justice, we have direct access to the Boss!”
“…For their sake I carry a hard copy Bible whenever possible…Young people may need to accommodate old people and vice versa…As we become a global village and interact with other people, we would be shocked at what they do or not do. We need to be accommodative if we are not sinning.”
“Those who reside in the Spirit can’t be successfully opposed. No one can be against them successfully. But if you live in the flesh, all enemies take you from one defeat to another. Your residence determines your destiny and life!”
“Many are victims of religious extremism because they refuse to question how scripture is interpreted … Our deep seated desperation. Our past traumas. Our hidden desires. All these can make us predisposed to a false interpretation that is consistent with our fears or desires. The false interpretation becomes truly comforting because it meets a hidden defect. That is why we must prayerfully seek guidance by asking for the correct interpretation. Do you understand what you are reading? How do you understand it?”
