Faith & Worship

Trusting God through every season, prayer, and the daily walk of worship.

  • I Know Where You Live

God knows how much we have to contend with. God knows what Satan and others are doing to us. God knows our struggle to remain faithful. Let us be encouraged that God knows and He is doing something about our situation. I know where you live!

  • Friendship is a Compulsory Requirement, Do you Qualify?

Love is important and sensible where there is friendship. “It is not a lack of love, but a lack of friendship that makes unhappy marriages.” – Friedrich Nietzsche. Many single people suddenly realize it is time to marry or get married. Then they venture to go and search for the perfect partner, the right man or woman. Unfortunately for them, they find this person and end up in marriage. Several weeks or months later, they discover the person is right and they have chosen to be in love, but they are not friends!

  • Is This What We Have In common?

What do you have in common in that social media group? What do you have in common with your pack of friends? What do you have in common with your daily companions? What do you have in common with your lover? Truth is the best thing to have in common. Is this what we have in common?

  • This is the Spiritual Litmus Test

What could be the litmus test of faith? What could be the litmus test of our relationship with God? Our text today expounds on this and emphasizes it in the clearest ways possible. How we treat others will be a subject of final judgment. It is the litmus test of our spiritual life.

  • They Shouldn’t Have Known This…

We should never have known the church is sacred than continue treating it casually. We should never have known that church money is holy and taking some for yourself is a devastating curse, yet we still take church money. We should never have known that God will judge everything and yet live as if judgment is a none issue. This we should not have known!

  • These Translations are Hostile but Exposing the Enemy

A fellow member is most likely to borrow and fail to pay. Fellow members are most likely going to drive rumors that damage you. Fellow members will avoid your business hoping it fails more than non-believers who may give you a chance. Most likely you will be betrayed and harmed without apology by a religious leader. As we prepare and ensure external dangers don’t harm us, be equally ready for internal risks!

  • Freedom Can Be A Cover-up?

While the rest of the unconverted world and fake Christians are trembling about Illuminati, devil worship and bad eyes from witches, Christians move on undisturbed. If it wasn’t for Jesus, you would be visiting shrines half naked deep in the night to seek divine favors. Now you can’t pause to pray in your cosy room? Aren’t you abusing your freedom?

  • The Best Response to Provocation

Provocation is bound to happen and is happening. Provocation will come from people who are outside the church and even from the seemingly holiest in the church. Since it is those who do good who are provoked, Apostle Peter advises us to keep doing the good that has triggered the provocation.

  • This Kind of Special Treatment is Sin

You have poor and rich relatives, how do you treat them? When a poor person denies himself some privilege and gives it to the rich or rich-looking person, it is wrong. Obeying parents is not showing favoritism. Obeying leaders and showing them due respect is not favoristism. Special treatment of some over others devalues humanity and places value on wealth or whatever else we consider important enough if a person had it.
