You can’t entertain your ex-boyfriend or ex-girlfriend and claim to be neutral and only act humanely. Entertaining means you still love them. Entertaining means you are not fully committed to your current spouse. If you entertain you can’t be neutral!
These are ways in which we get deceived. First we do not know the truth so any convincing deception is welcome. We are not safeguarded through prayer, etc.
KISS is the principle to use. Daily we go to work. Daily we go to school. Daily we must be reminded that we are believers. Daily we must be reminded to relate well with one another. Daily we must be encouraged not to give up. The Bible says it has to be daily. Is daily devotion and worship too much?
There is a limit to what we put up within a toxic environment and relationship, or else we will suffer a mental breakdown. There is a limit to attempts we make to salvage a business, or else we will sink in trouble never to rise. There is a limit even after forgiveness. There is a limit!
f our lifestyle doesn’t match our profession of faith, we will never win anyone to Christ. Conduct is a critical aspect of Christian life. May God grant us His Spirit to mould our conduct and guide us, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
Unless it’s leisure time..Watching movies is being idle. Listening to music is being idle. Playing games is being idle. Leisure time should be no more than twenty percent of your day. If leisure time is more than twenty percent of your twenty-four hours, you are an idler. Are you idle or busy?
Take risks by dating someone. Take risks by forgiving your partner and starting afresh instead of living in hostility. Take risks by trying that same business differently. Take risks by investing. Take risks by applying for jobs even outside your country and comfort zone. Take risks by confronting bad behavior so that it is not repeated. Take risks by writing a bad thesis or manuscript and presenting it anyway, the corrections may be fewer than you ever thought. Take risks and move from where you are stuck. Sometimes this is the only way forward!
Wife duties and husband duties must be done passionately or else we offend God. Children must be passionate about obeying and cooperating with their parents. Fathers represent parenting, therefore, parenting must be done passionately. slaves represent domestic workers. Domestic workers must do their work passionately. Whatever you do, do it passionately. As passionately as you serve God and not human beings. If you can’t do it passionately don’t do it!
Whatever type of religious music we consume, it should clearly and directly praise God, then richly implant God’s word in us. If music doesn’t do that it is not appropriate for us. We must gauge all music by this standard.
