Only the friends of God have a safe and bright future. Enemies of God may not see it now, but there is serious trouble ahead for them. The trouble they can’t handle. The trouble that may destroy them forever. I pray that I may always be a friend of God that He cares for and protects and prospers, in Jesus’ name, Amen!

How you treated those who wrong you, is how you will be treated by those you wrong. How we treat those who owe us is how we will be treated by those we owe. If only we took this divine principle seriously, the world would be a better place.
A slow learner doesn’t get the obvious lesson. Think of a whole class of slow learners. Think of a whole community of slow learners. Yet The Teacher is the best and undoubtedly excellent. This is what Israel was in their relationship with God. The whole community of God’s people was painfully slow in getting the spiritual lessons God was teaching them. God can’t be blamed for sure, these are just difficult people. Spiritual slow learners!
Stephen endured stoning to death because of his relationship with God. Peter slept comfortably on the night he was to be killed, because of his relationship with God. Apostle Paul declared he was ready to die and wait for resurrection, he could endure the terror of coming death by beheading because he had a close relationship with God. The secret behind unbreakable endurance is a genuinely close relationship with God.
Satan is the master in the blame game. Those engaging in blame games are engaged in diabolical activities. Any leader allowing a blame game has allowed satanic activities. Day and night you listen to accusers reporting others and you believe and act? The chief accuser is Satan.
When the land dries up, the environment is toxic, people live in suspicion of each other. When the land dries up there is endless fighting. When the land dries up what was once a love affair is a regret and pain. When the land dries up the last place you want to go is home. When the land dries up, you hate your own life and contemplate suicide. When the land dries up we have money problems, loneliness problems, relationship problems, health problems, stress problems, etc. Many of us may be living or working on dry land. We need to examine if the Bible could be addressing us when it says, because of this, the land dries up.
Did you know that Our own conduct and actions could be the reason why we are struggling in life without a breakthrough? Do you know that a promise you made to orphans who are suffering and you haven’t honored the request, could be the reason why nothing seems to work for you? God says that your own conduct and actions have brought you this.
Therefore the seven women scrambling for a husband is an event of that time when God punished Israel by sending them to the Babylonian captivity. The event is not in the future but in the past. It teaches us that God punishes evil. It teaches us that the evil will someday be so desperate.
