Exodus 3:10
So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.”
God tells Moses to go to Egypt on His behalf. God wants to respond to the cries and suffering of Israelites. God, therefore, sends Moses with a specific message to Pharaoh the King of Egypt.
Think about it. God would have sent Moses to Pharaoh to discuss how to reduce the suffering of Israelites. God would have sent Moses to tell Pharaoh to reduce the forced labor and stop the beating.
It was possible to negotiate a situation where Israelites continue staying in Egypt but under favorable conditions. God could do it. God could force Pharaoh to continue staying with Israelites but under much better conditions.
But God chose extreme action. God told Moses to go and tell Pharaoh that it’s now over, Israelites must leave Egypt. Even if Pharaoh promises to stop the torture, Israelites must leave. Even if Pharaoh promises to treat Israelites equal to Egyptians the Israelites must get out of Egypt. Even if Pharaoh ends slavery and gives Israelites half of his government, it’s too late, Israelites must get out of Egypt. God chose this extreme action. Sometimes extreme action is the best action!
Exodus 12:40-41
(40) Now the length of time the Israelite people lived in Egypt was 430 years. (41) At the end of the 430 years, to the very day, all the LORD’s divisions left Egypt.
God did not jump to conclusions. God had watched Israelites suffer in Egypt for all those years. God had observed the relationship between Egyptians and Israelites for all those years. God concluded that extreme action was the best action!
If your life is threatened in a relationship, get out of that relationship and move to safety, sometimes extreme action is the best action. If your child is getting into bad and potentially addictive habits in this school, do not delay, get the child out of that school to even an inferior school but save the child from addiction. Sometimes extreme action is the best action.
If all a love partner is asking from you is money and more money and without money you are in trouble, you may need to suddenly end that relationship to save yourself financially. If all a love partner is asking for us sexual favors, you may need to terminate that affair, whichever way it will not end well. If you are in a love relationship that you must bear with bad behavior be careful. Your partner interacts with opposite sex freely and wants you to understand? That stress is not worth it. If they can’t change please quit. Sometimes extreme action is the best action!
Once in a while, the parent must use a stick to correct the bad behavior of a child in order to save that child. Sometimes extreme action is the best action. If you notice unacceptable behavior like flirting and cheating, only extreme action will help. Extreme action in this case is not violence. Extreme action is changing tone and posture as you give an ultimatum or if it is a repeat you end the relationship for a while. Extreme action has worked more than crying and drama that attracts regrettable publicity.
If you are in a business that has had no returns for many years, you are just piling losses, you may eventually require to take extreme action and call it a day. If you are conned by business partners continuously, it may be time to quit regardless of the promise they give you. If you discover the promises you are pursuing are going nowhere, it is only leaving you anxious and stressed, it may be time to abandon that pursuit. Sometimes extreme action is the best action!
If the environment is toxic and you have done all that you can move out. Move to another house. Move to another school. Move to another job. Even if your tormentors plead with you to stay, if they couldn’t change in the past, they will not, keep going and save yourself. Sometimes extreme action is the best action!
Dear God, grant me wisdom to know when extreme action is due, in Jesus’ name, Amen!

Powerful.”Sometimes extreme action is the best”After completing my o’level, I got some employment as a security officer(a watchi) whith a private security firm. I worked at night for about ten years,,,, watching after people’s property..
In the year 2016, I said to myself, I will not continue working as a watchman.I resigned and joined UEAB, Nairobi extension Campus. Some friends and relatives criticised me for my action. My family went through a hardship for four years.
