Faith & Worship

Trusting God through every season, prayer, and the daily walk of worship.

  • Meaning and Aim  In Aspects of Liturgy

“Worship is responsive. Passive listening is not acceptable nor welcome…We respond in worship by saying “Amen!” We respond in worship by giving tithes and offerings. We respond by kneeling in prayer or standing. We respond by indicating that we are in agreement with what has been said and done. Worship is a dialogue. God does things and speaks, we respond by doing things and even speaking.”

  • Holy People Holy Things Handle With Care!

“Since holy things and people are under direct God’s care, it doesn’t mean we should be careless about their safety. Ezra knew these things and people are holy and safe, but he still took precautions by distributing them for safety. Holiness is not a call to carelessness.”

  • Should A Christian Leader Have Bodyguard(s)?

“It is wrong to have bodyguards for show off. It is wrong to have bodyguards as a way of matching worldly standards of leaders…A church worker does not get power and respect from show of security force and opulence. Such power would be inferior to the power of our God. It is a sign of spiritual immaturity to seek respect in such worldly ways.”

  • Because The Gracious Hand of God Was On Us!

“The gracious hand of God provides. The gracious hand of God protects. The gracious hand of God is all that we need today. May the gracious hand of our God be with you and me today, in Jesus’s name, Amen!”

  • As A Leader, What Have You Accomplished?

“Solomon had wisdom from God. Any leader who is faithful to God, will get wisdom from God…Solomon didn’t achieve everything in the first a hundred days or first year. These things took twenty years. Leaders need time. Don’t forget, dear leaders, that twenty years are made of today and each day that passes. Accomplish small steps daily and in twenty years or whatever time, you will have accomplishments. As a leader, what have you accomplished so far?”

  • According To Each Day’s Need

“Shouldn’t we also provide for each other according to our daily needs? I may need more love today than yesterday. She may need greater forgiveness today than last time. He may need more time today than last time. The needs of people around us change daily. Like God let us give them a daily treat according to their needs!”

  • Remember This One Prayer!

“The one prayer is normally well thought out. The one prayer is made during occasions and ceremonies where we are focused and concerned about the present and future. That one prayer covers our core needs for the present and the future. Solomon highlights the one prayer and pleads with God not to forget it.”

  • There Is No One Who Does Not Sin

“This is not creating an excuse to continue sinning. This is not to make the sinning problem lighter. In fact this makes the problem worse than we ever thought. All of us are sinners and helplessly so. Even those of us who do not want to sin, we end up sinning against our wish. For there is no one who does not sin! Someone must save us from sin, we cannot save ourselves. Everyone willingly and unwillingly sins!”

  • Terms and Conditions Apply

“You can’t desire the promise and be mischievous when it comes to conditions. We must fulfill the conditions and God will keep the promises. Terms and conditions apply! … As we claim the promises of God, have we met the terms and conditions? For example- “forgive our trespasses as we forgive those who have trespassed against us.” Have we forgiven everyone who trespassed against us? We will not be forgiven unless we forgive others. Terms and conditions apply!”
