Doctrine & Prophecy

Sound teaching, hard passages, prophecy, and errors to avoid.

  • It’s Not Yet Time!

“If you want something and it is not yet time, you will not get it. Even if the most powerful forces on earth assist you…God promises through prophet Isaiah that when the right time comes, He will always act. We must interpret our circumstances with God’s timing. It is happening because it’s time. It hasn’t happened because it’s not yet time! “

  • God the Son and God the Father are Distinctly Different

“We have one God the Bible tells us. We do not have three gods. The three – Father, Son and Holy Spirit, are one because God says so and not because it makes sense to us. We can’t fully understand God. We accept what the Bible tells us by faith! Without faith it is impossible to please God. By faith the two, husband and wife are actually one. It doesn’t make physical mathematical sense to us but because God has said so, we accept it by faith!”

  • Don’t Rub It In!

“As we go through the day, you may need to be silent in some matters… Many holier than thou persons focus on others but hardly reflect on themselves… When God confronted Cain after he killed his brother, He didn’t rub it in. When God confronted David after the  Bathsheba scandal, He didn’t rub it in. When Jesus met Peter who had betrayed him thrice and other disciples who had deserted Him, He didn’t rub it in. Don’t rub it in!”

  • Your Conviction (Faith) Must Defy Reality

“Prayer is not bothering God… Faith defies reality by believing that God can change the impossible situation. Faith defies reality by believing that when God doesn’t respond as we expected, it shall still be well for He has a better alternative. On these two beliefs, faith moves forth to defy reality!”

  • The Most Effective Sermon That Anyone and Everyone Can Preach!

“What can a brand new convert preach? What can a man who hasn’t spent a full day with Jesus preach? What can a man who hasn’t heard the teachings of Jesus preach? … Can’t you preach this sermon? Who can’t tell what God has done for them? Tell them how much God has done for you. Tell them how you survived without a job. Tell them how you recovered. Tell them how haters couldn’t harm you. Tell them how things changed for the better after you prayed. Tell how much God has done for you!”

  • End of Secrecy Is Coming, Mind Your Secrets!

“Live like someone who knows that your current secrets will be aired for public consumption…Are you doing things hoping to never get caught? Using contraceptives. Procuring abortion. Stealing money…Do you seat in secret meetings and plan to harm others?…”

  • What Are You Made Of? What Are Your True Colors?

“Unless we are humble enough to listen, God’s word will be a blessing to others but  not to us. Others will be blessed after reading or listening but we go cursed and worse off. Worship will be a place of blessings for others but for us a curse. Are we humble teachable or proud know it all masquerading with a shallow veneer of humility? Who are you really? What are your true colors? What are you made of?”

  • Where Did Jesus Get Money For His Ministry?

“…These women were not idlers hanging around Jesus for free lunch. They were civil servants working in Herod’s house. They were rich enough to support Jesus and everyone around Jesus. They were not fundraisers, they did not go around soliciting money for Jesus. They supported Jesus and everyone around Jesus using their own money!”

  • Whose Agenda and Whose Priorities Are You Pursuing?

“Everyone who ever served God faithfully and in outstanding ways, had to abandon their own agenda and priorities and take up what God gave. Jeremiah had to abandon childhood and even marriage. Jonah had to abandon comfort and go where he hated to go. You can’t succeed with God unless you deny yourself, change your agenda and priorities to what God wants!”
