I GIVE IT TO ANYONE I PLEASE

Jeremiah 27:5
With my great power and outstretched arm I made the earth and its people and the animals that are on it, and I give it to anyone I please.
Jeremiah 27:6
Now I will give all your countries into the hands of my servant Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; I will make even the wild animals subject to him.

God tells the people of Israel and the whole world that He is the one who created the world and everything in it. Since He is the Creator, He is the owner. Then He tells them, that He chooses who to give what He created. I give it to anyone I please!

Jeremiah the prophet was addressing Israelites who had sinned against God and were now in captivity. They couldn’t believe that Babylon that didn’t believe in the true God had conquered them. God responds by accusing them for their sins, which caused them to be defeated. God reminds them that He is the Creator. The world and everything in it belongs to Him. When Israelites rejected God by sinning against Him, God gave Israel and the whole world to the heathen king of Babylon. God calls the heathen king, His servant. By giving this heathen king the whole world to rule, God proved that the world is His and He gives anyone He pleases. I give it to anyone I please!

Are you working hard and dreaming of possessing the material things of this world? Have you involved God in your struggle? Remember you and everything you have and are working for, belongs to God. It is God who finally decides if your hardworking pays off or not. Since everything belongs to Him, He will choose who to give to. If you ignore God, if you do not relate with God, you can work hard and get nothing, or you get it but for a short time. Remember God’s words. I give it to anyone I please!

God has given great possessions to people who work hard. God has also given great possessions to people who never put any effort. Authority, power, leadership, property, wealth, riches…and whatever else. I give it to anyone I please!

The safest bet is to relate to this powerful God. He may or may not give you, but you are safer relating to Him. You may be working hard on one thing and He blesses you on that one or something else totally different. I give it to whom I please. That doesn’t mean we just spend time praying and reading the Bible. No! We must plan, strategise, put efforts, try this, try that as we put our entire faith and trust in God and He will bless us. I give it to anyone I please!

When God used a heathen king, He proved one point, that even those who oppose God, can be forced to serve the interests of God. The king of Babylon did what God wanted because God caused him to do it. God protected the king of Babylon until he achieved what God wanted. Do you need help from some heathen people in public or private offices? Trust God, He can cause them to serve you. Are some heathen people causing you sleepless nights? Commit them to God, He can cause them to do what you are praying and working for. In the Bible books of Ezra and Nehemiah, God caused heathen leaders to support the restoration and rebuilding of Jerusalem and its temple. God is telling us that even the heathen belong to Him. Anything and anyone in the world is Mine. I give it to anyone I please!

Dear God I am in need. Only you can give anything and everything. May it please you to give me the answers to my prayers today. Dear God there are some heathen people giving me a hard time and I lack peace because of them. Only You, our God can cause them to do Your will in my favour. Cause them LORD! May I find peace when I remember that everything belongs to You and You give it to anyone You please, in Jesus name, Amen!
