The future is real. The future doesn’t just require money and a good education. The future doesn’t just require great relationships and perfect health. The future also needs God who steps in to cover our deficiencies. As you plan for the future, God should be in the picture. Store up something for your relationship with God. What are you storing up for yourself?
Speaking unknown languages is not a biblical tradition. The few times speaking in tongues is mentioned in scriptures it refers to speaking known existing languages. The only reference to speaking an unknown language is in 1 Corinthians 14 where it is condemned by Paul. The practice of speaking unknown languages masquerading as speaking in tongues began in Corinth. The Apostle condemns it in 1 Corinthians 14. Many of us live in relationships that ended long ago but are waiting for a reason to actually end officially. We could be living in denial. It is important to always evaluate your relevance and work to improve it or move on. Mark timing and forward marching are all parade activities but know the difference. You could be busy mark timing or moving forward.
Don’t we need this kind of Dreams in our lives? Dreams from God that guide us away from danger. Dreams from God to show us the right decisions to make. Dreams from God to assures us when it is safe to make a move. We need this kind of Dreams urgently!
God encourages the people through the prophets. God tells them not to despise the small progress that they are making, Zechariah 4:10. Our life is a totality of the small steps we take daily. Success is not one giant step. Success is an accumulation of many small steps. Do not despise the small steps you are making, they will add up and make sense someday. For now, keep on making the small steps.
When God is with you, lack of money is not an issue because whatever you need He can create not even purchase. When God is with you, you don’t need money for healthcare, He can declare healing, He can raise the dead in case of death. When God is with you, you lack nothing and nothing is impossible. Therefore to answer all questions and worries that miserable Israelites had, God tells them, be strong, do not fear, because I am with you. These are the most reassuring words!
The Bible tells us today that there are people who would at night craft evil plans that harm others. They would craft this plan at night and wake up to implement it. They did this because they had the power to do it. They did it not because there was a need or reason but because they had the power to do it. God took note that they acted in this manner because they had the power to do it. They were exercising their powers. They were doing it because they could. You can but don’t do it!
What fish are you cornered in? Are you cornered in the belly of the fish of finances? Are you cornered in the belly of the fish of stressful relationships? Are you cornered in the belly of the fish of a sickly body? Are you cornered in the belly of the fish of academic difficulties? If you address God, He will address the fish!…When God addresses your problems, they become a ladder to a better and safe place. When God addressed the fish it vomited Jonah at the right and safe place. If you address God, He will address the fish!
In our kingdom, good things and bad things happen. Some we regret. Some hurt us. Some are good and some are bad. All things happen so that the kingdom belongs to God. Until when God owns the kingdom, we are not yet there where He wants us to be!
