I Need This MoU That Can Only Come From God

Job 5:23
For you will have a covenant with the stones of the field,
and the wild animals will be at peace with you.

You will know that your tent is secure;
you will take stock of your property and find nothing missing.

MoU is an abbreviation for Memorandum of Understanding. When two parties come together and agree on how they will relate and conduct business they sign an MoU. An MoU ensures a peaceful or conflict-free interaction. An MoU establishes a relationship on terms convenient to both parties.

An MoU is normally between human beings who have an understanding of the terms involved. An MoU is normally between those who are of sound mind and can negotiate to make sure their interests are catered for in the agreement. However, the Bible tells us today that God can facilitate an MoU that has never been heard of.

The Bible tells us that God will establish an MoU between believers and stones. An MoU between human beings who trust God and stones that are inanimate. An agreement between human beings and non-living things that don’t even have a brain. God can facilitate an agreement between us and stones so that they do not harm us but instead work in our favor. I need this MoU that can only come from God!

The Bible tells us that there will also be an MoU between human beings and animals. While animals are living things, they do not have mental capabilities like those of human beings. Yet God says, He will facilitate an agreement between believers and animals. Animals will not harm human beings and will cooperate with them. I need this MoU that can only come from God!

Other details of the MoU include the fact that believers will not fear losing anything. Imagine an MoU that promises that you will not lose anything. If you know the pain and stress of losing something, then this aspect of the MoU is welcome. I need this MoU that can only come from God!

The MoU also promises that believers will have many children. That means fertility and that also means a low and almost zero mortality rate. Can you imagine an MoU that promises your beloved children a long life? I need this MoU that can only come from God!

The MoU ends with a promise that when death eventually comes to the believer, he or she will still be strong. Can you imagine an MoU that promises long life to us and that when we come to die, we will still be strong in body and mind? Dying after a very long life and still full of vigor. What an MoU! I need this MoU that can only come from God!

May this MoU be mine too. I need an MoU with non-living things so that they cooperate with me. An MoU with my electronic gadgets. An MoU with my laptop, my car, my house, and whatever else I need to cooperate with me for a good life. Without the MoU, the gadgets can fail when I need them most. Without the MoU, I can easily get disappointed. I need this MoU that can only come from God!

I need this MoU and all its promises. May they apply to me. May they come true in my life. May this be our prayer today, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
